A Ride Like None Other!

Bald Eagle flying over the river

Another trip around the sun as we head into spring, and of course, I want to thank
SO MANY for their kind words on the review platforms!

If you want the most “bang for your buck”, then you gotta get out there EARLY! Unless you’re fishing, this goes against the grain of EVERY vacationer! You see those tour times up there and you CRINGE but that’s how it is! The beginning of the third quarter (I said third quarter- can you believe it already? oyh!) anyway, the daytime temperatures are absolutely DISRESPECTFUL once you pass the noon hour! Some of you from Arizona laugh with your “dry heat” but you’re in for an awakening!  This place will cook your brain if you get caught in it past AM!

So there you have it! You’ve seen the zoo midday in summer and noticed the animals are in their shelters…. Out here- not much different except we don’t want to beat up on my “coworkers” after 11am!! Come hang there with me when the residents of the swamp are open to guests and not responding with their survival instincts. Everybody wins this way!

This is hurricane season and afternoon thunderstorms are the norm along the river.  Brevard and Orange counties border the St Johns River, and the higher elevations will flood the marsh to the highest levels since the previous year! If you want to witness this evolution, then now is the time to join me for an incredible experience!

My 3 favorite times of year- Easter, Christmas and HURRICANE SEASON!! SADDLE UP- LET’S RIDE!!!

MY BEST TO ALL & SAFE TRAVELS!!

Make sure to check out the ride video with “The Bagwell Family”  There’s plenty of information in there as well.

After meeting at the River Lakes Conservation Area Boat Ramp not far from Cocoa Beach, we’ll cruise up the St. Johns River on either a 12 or 22 mile route depending on the length of the tour. You’ll see the cypress forest, all kinds of birds, and of course…GATORS!

1 Hour Ride

$60 per person

This tour is approximately 12 miles round trip in search of all mentioned wildlife and a stop off at “POSSUM BLUFF” picnic area to step out and take it all in! The bluff is only accessible by water and quite remote.

2 Hour Ride

Call for Details

We will travel some 22 miles visiting the famed “monster hole” where I once counted 66 gators laid up in one spot. Tosohatchee Cypress forest is jaw dropping as we ride down Jim Creek under the Cypress Trees.

Private Rides

1 Hour $350
2 Hour $600

If you want a private airboat tour of the area for just your party, then this is the way to go. Airboat rides include a stop at Possum Bluff with spectacular views of the St. Johns River. Call for details today!
